Our inner chimp, the limbic system part of our brain, does not like change. So when change occurs we’re often given lots of stress ? hormones like adrenaline and cortisol that rush around our bodies ✨. It is unhealthy for us to remain in a state of stress for long periods of time. This is where acceptance comes in. ?
Acceptance is not always easy and doesn’t always happen overnight. However, when we move closer to acceptance of those things we cannot change, we can often feel like a weight has been lifted. ?
